There are a few steps to take for the application. By completing the following steps, you will be able to become a teacher of Tutordel!
๐ก P.s. After logging in on the Tutordel platform, your account will be a student account. Click "Apply to Teach" to start the teacher application.
Main Steps of Application:
1. Register and Submit Application (10 min)
Create an account and go to the "Apply to Teach" page to apply, and submit basic information for review.
2. Interview - Demo Class (1 - 2 Days)
After you submit an application, some applicants might need to go through an interview. During the interview, you will be required to give a 15 mins demo class to demonstrate your teaching skills.
3. Recruitment Tool Practice and ID Verification (10 min)
Practice using recruitment tools and familiarize yourself with how to use the platform while completing identity authentication.
4. Complete Account Setup (15 min)
After reviewing your application and interview we will get back to you with a final decision within 24hrs. Once approved, you can then complete your tutor's page by updating your profile info and setting up a pricing and availability calendar, to showcase your teaching expertise.
5. Teach In-Person or Online!
You'll automatically be listed online only after setting up your available times and fees to start recruiting students and teaching online.
Completing Your Application
๐ป If you have all information ready on hand, the application should take you between 7-10 min to complete.
Step 1. Register and Submit the Application
There are a few ways to register as a tutor on the platform. Tutordel supports
what we call one account, dual profile functionality, meaning a tutor can
also have a learner profile with the same account and vice-versa.
1.1 Apply to Teach
The user needs to click on Apply to Teach on the websiteโs Log-In page.
After filling in the email address and password, the user clicks on Register
With Email, the user is redirected to the Tutor Registration Form.
๐ป Here, the user needs to provide the following details:
1. Personal Info
First Name: Enter the first name
Last Name: Enter the last name
Gender: Select the gender using the toggle buttons
Phone Number: Enter the contact number (not optional)
Photo ID: Upload the Photo Id of an identity document/certificate (JPG or PNG).
The user needs to click on Save and Next to complete the step and move
onto the next tab.
2. Profile Media
Profile Picture: Upload a profile picture using Choose File (JPG or PNG).
Introduction Video: Here the user can provide the Youtube/Vimeo URL of a video showcasing your work.
Biography: Write about yourself and your qualifications. In this field, the user needs to write a general biography of her interests, qualifications, and achievements.
The user needs to click on Save and Next to complete the step and move
onto the next tab.
3. Subjects and Languages
Subjects to Teach: Users can select subjects they wish to teach from the menu.
The Language I Speak: The user can select the languages they can speak and select the level of proficiency from the drop-down menu.
The user needs to click on Save and Next to complete the step and move
onto the next tab.
4. Resume
Clicking on Add Resume will open a resume here, the user needs to provide the following details. Here, the user needs to provide the following details. box.

Experience Type: Select experience type from the drop-down menu as Education, Certification, or Work Experience.
Title: Enter the Name of the Course/Qualification.
Institution: Enter the name of the institute from where qualification or
work experience was acquired.
Location: Enter the place name where the institute is located.
Description: Enter a summary of the work experience.
Start Year: Enter the starting year of work experience.
End Year: Enter the starting year of work experience.
Upload Certificate: Upload the certificate of work experience.
Finally, the user needs to click on Save Changes to complete the step.
A toast message reading Qualification Setup Successful will appear and all
the entered information will appear.
Accept Tutor Approval Terms & Conditions
The user then needs to select Accept Teacher Approval Terms & Conditions
to proceed further.
Finally, the user needs to click on Next to complete the application process.๐
1.2 Application Approval
๐ก P.S. After submitting the tutor application, the user has to wait to receive approval
via email. Once the platform admin has approved the request, the user
receives an email.
๐ป Tips: Tutordel is designed to offer both the tutor and learner functionalities with a single account. A learner's profile is automatically created after the successful registration of a tutor's account. The tutor can easily switch between tutor/learner profiles from the dashboard.
