Your bio is a really important part of your Tutordel profile. It helps potential customers to gauge your teaching style, your areas of expertise, and any other additional qualifications or skills that you possess. We advise it be written in a manner that is both friendly and professional and it is a good idea to include:

  1. Academic background: Where and what do you study and what qualifications you have obtained

  1. Tutoring experience: You can also include any other experience that you think is relevant; valid experience comes in a range of different forms!

  1. Teaching style: How you conduct your lessons, any specific methods of teaching that you use, etc.

  1. A bit about yourself and your interests: Anything else about you that you think is relevant or interesting? It is also a good idea to include why you want to become/became a tutor and what you think sets you apart from the crowd!

  1. A good video: We recommend all tutors do a video. It's a quick and easy way to sell yourself and your services.
