Sometimes a client may need to cancel a lesson and should contact you in order to do so. If the client contacts you more than 48 hours before the scheduled lesson they are able to cancel the lesson at no cost.

Clients are able to cancel the lesson on their side without help and may simply want to let you know personally. Occasionally clients are unsure how to cancel a lesson, in which case you can either cancel the lesson for them in the schedule section of your profile or ask them to contact the customer care team.

However, if a client cancels your lesson within 48 hours they will automatically be charged and you will receive payment. We operate a 48-hour cancellation policy to help protect tutors from costly cancellations.

Should you decide to allow them to cancel the lesson at no charge, simply go to the schedule section of your profile and cancel the lesson for them. If you still expect payment due to late cancellation, inform the client that they will still be charged, and do not remove the lesson from your schedule.
